S-ØY-S - Save-Our island-Seas

S-ØY-S - (save-our island-seas) looks at engagement with the Marine Protected Area (MPA) surrounding Papay. This is in collaboration with Dr. Jo Porter- International Centre for Island Technology, local creel fishermen, young Papay islanders, together with the broader Orkney community. This explores the idea that the ocean has no borders - ‘one world island, in one world ocean’ (Buckminster Fuller).  A film documenting the creative exploration work done in this project will launch on social media channels August 2023.  https://twitter.com/SOSPapay
